November dispatch

Welcome to the beginning of winter. Remember you are not a lizard and celebrate coffee and rosy cheeked women.

We featured on a playlist put together by Pindrop Publicity, check it out here, lots of lovely sounds.

We’ve been invited to take part in ‘Food of Love’, an album of Bard-related songs for the Shakespeare Jubilee festival in April 2016. Our piece is based on ‘I Loathe That I Did Love’, a poem quoted by misery gums himself Hamlet. Also in the pipeline are new songs possibly entitled ‘hey there, my sweet ostinato’ and ‘standards won’t keep you warm at night’.

Only one gig last month, at the Finsbury with Business Lunch, a wild Fall-style groove racket band with a wonderfully demented frontman, check them out. Our next and currently final gig of the year is an acoustic one at Cornerstone Theatre in Didcot on Friday 4th December. Bring sleighbells.

‘Til next time, drone on people
